At SWGPL (Shakuntla Watts Global Private Limited), we take pride in offering handmade home décor and jute products crafted with care and attention to detail. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in colour, texture, design, size, or finish may occur and are considered a natural characteristic of handcrafted items.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund, Return & Shipping Policy.

1. Shipping Policy
Order Processing
Orders are generally processed within 3–5 business days after successful payment confirmation.
Customized or made-to-order products may require additional processing time depending on the nature of the order.
Delivery Timeline
Delivery across India usually takes approximately 5–10 business days, depending on the shipping location and courier availability.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary during peak seasons, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.
Shipping Delays

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, SWGPL shall not be held responsible for delays caused by:

Courier partner delays
Weather conditions
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Public holidays
Strikes or transportation disruptions
Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, shipping, and contact details while placing an order. SWGPL shall not be liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

2. Return Policy
General Return Policy

As our products are handmade and often specially prepared, returns are generally not accepted.

Products cannot be returned for:

Minor colour or texture variations
Handmade irregularities
Change of mind
Personal preferences after delivery

These variations are part of the uniqueness of handmade products and are not considered defects.

3. Replacement Policy

Replacements may only be provided in the following cases:

Product received is damaged
Product received is defective
Incorrect product delivered
Replacement Conditions

To request a replacement:

Customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery
Proper proof such as clear photographs or videos of the package and product must be shared for verification

Once the request is reviewed and approved, the replacement will generally be processed within 7–10 working days, subject to product availability.

SWGPL reserves the right to reject replacement requests if sufficient proof is not provided or if the claim falls outside the eligible conditions.

4. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order, subject to production status.
Once production or processing has started, cancellations will not be accepted.
Customized & Made-to-Order Products
Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products require advance payment.
Such orders are strictly:
Non-cancellable
Non-returnable
Non-refundable
once processing has begun.


5. Refund Policy: Refunds will only be processed in the following situations:

Order cancelled and approved before processing begins
Product unavailable after payment
Replacement request approved but replacement cannot be fulfilled

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable processing period, depending on banking or payment gateway timelines.

Shipping charges, if any, may be non-refundable unless the issue is caused by an error from SWGPL.

6. Limitation of Liability

SWGPL shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, losses, delays, or misuse arising from the use of our products or services.

Our maximum liability shall be strictly limited to the value of the purchased product only.

7. Taxes & Invoices

GST and all applicable taxes shall be charged as per prevailing Indian laws.

A valid tax invoice will be issued for every eligible purchase.

While we make every effort to ensure that all product descriptions, pricing, images, stock availability, and website information are accurate and updated, errors or inaccuracies may occasionally occur.

SWGPL reserves the right to:

Correct any errors or omissions
Update information without prior notice
Modify product details, pricing, or availability at any time

Customers are advised to review this policy periodically before making a purchase or using our services.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising in relation to purchases, services, or website usage shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Faridabad only.
